Valerie's mother. She is a level headed and kind woman who’s always willing to lend a hand. She’s the co-owner of Rosette Bakery.

Personality

Caroline is gentle and observant. She encourages her kids to make their own choices while still expecting them to be responsible. While she's soft and gentle, she can also be quite firm and she isn't easily fooled. She's very organized and level-headed, and Valerie often turns to her for advice.

Appearance

Caroline is a curvy, plus-sized black woman with light brown skin and curly red hair tied back with a brown ribbon. She has green eyes and thick eyebrows. She wears white apron with ruffled straps over a plain pink top, and brown wide-leg capris with dark berry pink flats.
